RGREEN INVEST announces the sale, via its INFRAGREEN IV fund, of its 50% stake in GDS Italia to its long-time partner G\u00e9n\u00e9rale du Solaire, which now becomes the sole shareholder.<\/strong><\/p>\n Jointly created in 2020 by RGREEN INVEST and G\u00e9n\u00e9rale du Solaire, the GDS Italia platform was initially a startup initiative. During the last five years, leveraging the expertise of its shareholders, it has become a solid player in the photovoltaic sector in Italy, with a portfolio comprising 50 MW in operation, 50 MW “ready-to-build,” and more than 200 MW under development.<\/p>\n This transaction marks the culmination of a key milestone: RGREEN INVEST, having contributed to the creation and structuring of the platform, the creation and growth of its portfolio, and the financing and construction of its first operational projects, is now handing over the reins to its partner to continue the development of GDS Italia.<\/p>\n RGREEN INVEST and G\u00e9n\u00e9rale du Solaire share a long history of cooperation, with multiple joint projects in the financing and development of photovoltaic infrastructure in France and Europe.
