Both sponsors are jointly committing \u20ac200 million in equity to the company, which will finance the construction of an \u20ac800 million pipeline of large hybrid RES assets in Romania and Poland.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The new venture builds on the scale and success of the partners\u2019 first joint venture, Renalfa IPP. In less than five years, Renalfa IPP has grown into one of Europe\u2019s leading investors and operators of utilitys-cale hybrid assets equipped with long-duration BESS. This rapid development has enabled Renalfa IPP to implement an innovative business model and become the first company in Europe to bring green baseload products to market.<\/p>\n<p>The new company will deploy next generation technologies for renewable power generation, storage and dispatch, marking a pioneering step forward in electrification and the energy transition. It will deliver demand side optimisation solutions for low carbon industries and data centres, leveraging long duration BESS (<span style=\"color: #808080;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rgreeninvest.com\/en\/2025\/07\/03\/navigating-merchant-risk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" style=\"color: #808080;\">battery energy storage system<\/a><\/span>) as a cornerstone technology.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cOver the past five years, our partnership with the Renalfa team has demonstrated that Europe, and Eastern Europe in particular, can be a fertile ground for innovative business models and advanced financing and risk-management frameworks,\u201d Nicolas Rochon, Founder and CEO of <span style=\"color: #333399;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rgreeninvest.com\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" style=\"color: #333399;\">RGREEN INVEST<\/a><\/span>, said.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Rochon added: \u201cRenalfa IPP has evolved into one of Europe\u2019s leading platforms deploying long-duration BESS to integrate large-scale renewables and deliver competitive green baseload products to the market.
